SPX was a BLAST

Inks
Tried for three panels, only got through these two.
Pencils with ink, photoshop shading.

Broke out the pencils, ink and brushes for this one. I forgot how much nuance it takes to brush; photoshop has made me weak.
Fill in the words for your own amusement. I started drawing this with one dialogue in mind, but now have a few that I think might work...
I want to start doing only three-panel comics. Then 6... then 9... then a whole lots of pages
...you get the idea.

When I was young, I thought it was important to be good at everything. Getting an A in English didn't mean squat if I got a B or C grade in Math. School was all or nothing. I can't help but feel like I wasted a great deal of time and energy stressing about grades in subjects that I haven't used since.
That being said, those experiences shaped me. Without them I wouldn't be me.
BUT...
If I had to give some kid advice now, I'd advise that kid to stick with just one focus. Be crazy obsessed with just one good class, skill, or subject. Ignore people who tell you to be well-rounded.

Nymph, Dryad, whatever floats your boat.
So I watched the first episode of Wilfred tonight. It is now on my list of favorites and I hope to catch up to season two...
This is a dryad, a forest nymph. I'm actually displeased in that it's so similar to last night's post. Meh.

She certainly looks amused. She's a fire wizard, or maybe she's a lightning wizard and her outfit is intentionally misleading. Zap!
Edit: I change my mind. Her neck looks broken... or like she's on the roof of a high-velocity train where the air pressure makes it difficult to maintain proper posture.
